Question Emissions???

Does anyone else have to pass emissions (smog test) where they live, or is that just a local, Metro Atlanta thing?
Curious because I was thinking of getting some bassani high-flow X pipes and was wondering if I could still pass emissions with only 2 cats?

Scott

Yes you can pass with only 2 cats.
When you take it to the test, reduce timing to 6-8 degrees to reduce NOX emissions.

Are you asking in reference to your cobra?

In my area 96 and newer (OBDII) only get a quick scan of the computer for codes and to verify that the check engine light blulb works. If the light is on-automatic failure. They are not run for smog. Find out if the same rules apply near you.
