Default Another gauge question!! This time, its a tach...

I realize that a tachometer that has seen 202k on it can't possibly be as accurate as it once was..
So how much are the stock dash tachs off by on a generalized basis??

And any suggestions on a replacement??

Also, is there a way to re-calibrate the stock tachs to make sure its as accurate as it can be??

They are notorious for being off . Go with an auto meter unit . There pretty good .

i've seen my tach hit 7k before, which is impossible because fuel cuts off way before that.. I agree with Fordgazm, go with an auto meter unit.
