Default Mach 1 Exhaust questions - flowmaster?

Hey guys, I have a 03 Mach1. Previous to that I had a GT that I had installed a cat back system from Flowmaster that used the 50 Series Delta flows. It was perfect for me. Nice sound but not too bad inside at all (I do alot of highway driving). It was an automatic car.

On the new Mach with the higher HP 32 valve motor I have a 5 speed. I installed 50 series Delta flows in order to get the same type sound and it is very different. It is much quiter outside and from the front of the car.

My question is, does this mean I could try 40 series delta flows and get away with less interior noise? Is this due to the motor being the 32 valve?

I tried Magnaflow and Borla on my GT and went back to Flowmaster for the nasty sound. So I dont want to rush out and buy something else.

I would like the keep the car from droing at 2000 RPM like my last 40's did on teh GT but that was an automatic with the regular 4.6 so maybe on this car it would not drone? Hmmmm. I am not sure what to do.

Thanks please advise. If you wish to email me direct do not use private messages but rather just answer this forum publically. Thanks!
Kevin

Anytime you run a 40 series Flowmaster on a car you will be droned to death. If I were you I'd change the midpipe to offroad or hi-flow. That will increase your exhaust noise and probably give you the loudness you want. Not only that, but you will also get a power increase.
