My '93 GT conv. has black smoke billowing out the pipes. it has 105k on it, no major repairs ever... i have a bbk cold air kit, underdrives and a granatelli motorsports mass air sensor on it. i have no power at all and it pretty much stalls out if i let it idle. i put my head under the hood and it sounded like there was a sucking sound from the air filter/ mass air area.

so it's running real rich... could a bad mass air be doing it? the check engine light is also on.

looking for help from the pros out there... anyone have an idea? just found this site and hoping for a miracle!!!

What's the easiest way to do so? I should probably get a reader at any auto store, aren't they around 20 bucks? or else it's take it to a shop, right?
