Default How to reset an airbag diagnostic module? 1996 Mustang

Anyone knows how to reset an airbag diagnostic module from a 1996 mustang. After an accident, the airbags were blown, i know that this module can be resetted but i don`t know how. Does anyone have any info?

The aribag has its own computer similer to your engines, You'll probabaly have to take to a good shop or the dealer. Have to hook up a scanner that has airbag data on it, The cheap ones from parts stores are engine data only, they can just reset the codes that way.

Once they are blown they are no good.........you will have to get a new one........there is no way to reprogram them...........

Your wrong, i know someone who can reprogram it for me but he charges me too much (but cheaper than buying a new one). This guy does it professionally for many cars but he doesn`t tell his trick. Of course it probably takes a computer.

i found a website that does it for $100,I need it done for the 2007 Mustang I bought that was hit in the front,hope this help,Sal
