Default Speed Density how much can it handle??

Questions on how much speed density can handle in the stock form??I want to be able to change the stock heads to aftermarket while i have the block broken down. How bad will this confuse the "stock" computer??The car is an 88 GT 5 speed with only exhuast mods at the moment

The biggest problems appear when you change the stock cam.

You can always buy a chip for SD.

I recieved some info from T-moss in 5.0 Tech explaining the same problem about the cam. I take that the major problem is vaccum. I wanted to change to AFR-165 heads and Cobra upper and lower without causing a headache. Are the computers found in the speed density cars any good?? By that i mean with changes come limitations, are there any special computers for speed den that are better than others??

Some vendors sell EEC chips that work with SD, i beleive JMS does.
EECTuner and Tweecer programable chips also work with SD.

Thanks, I will look into the chips to fix the small problems. I am just making sure that I take care of the major issues up front.
