The county mounty has issued me a fix it ticket. I'm living in Ca. Extra strict on all cars.
My current set up is JBA headers through a Bassani x/with cats to borla mufflers. In a S-trim blown 95 cobra.
Is it just that the mufflers are that loud or is it the whole set up?
Any suggestions for more stealthy mufflers?

find out how loud it is, I believe that 85 decibles in CA is legal....I had to BS a cop one night about my car, and mine is not that loud. your X pipe is making it quieter too

What is the point of putting CARB approved exhaust on your car if you get pulled over anyways? Other than wanting to modify your car within the parameters that the state gives you.
Still, I wouldn't mind being a little more quiet. Anyone want to buy a Borla exhaust system???
