some questions on eliminating the power stering and other components.

I'm the owner of an 89 5.0 lx convertable 5-speed. I live in an area where there are no emissions. I am going to remove the smog, power stering, ac, and maybe go with an electric water pump but I like the cooling of my flex fan now. I would like to know if I can loop the hose for the stering box and It would steer ok when moving or should i just spend the 300 on the quick raito rack. also should I just cap of the emission holes that will be created from removing the system.

I would get the manual steering rack and pinion . You will have problems if you dont . Unless it is a drag race only car .

yea thats what I figured, I'm hoping that the job won't be to bad. I do all own work on my car, the only thing I haven't done was the rear end, I thought that I would leave that to the pro. Removing all that stuff in the front should free up some horses and give me loads of room. I am looking for parts for my diy single turbo system.
