I just got a set of Saleen Racecraft N2 Quad shocks.

I hope they work well. They are $99 each but got a set of two for $140

They are thinner than KYB so I won't rub.

How do you know when your kicker shocks are worn out? I really don't know what they do. Anyone care to explain?

Mine are OE and have over 100,000 miles on them. Mustangs are prone to shock/strut failure.

So I replaced my front OE struts since they seized up and will do the rear shocks. And just want to replace the OE quad shocks.

I am about to replace the struts, shocks and quads on my 89 GT vert and I chose koni reds. It has around 97000 and I feel sure they haven't been changed.

I had read that they were basically the same shocks the cobras used, but I have never used them myself. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Just wondering.

you know if you pay about 250 more you can install a torq arm from Maximum MotorSports and not have to have quads at all. then you can run wider tires and will have night and day differance in handleing and traction. i getting on after i helped installing my friends. truely awsome. totally different car now.

Or install some good lower control arms (LCAs), then you can get rid of the quads.

BTW they help getting rid of wheel hop.
