If you do have to do this in the garage, make sure you have a fan going with the doors to your house shut, the rear end oil is very bad smelling and lingers around for a few days.
For the
tranny I run GM Synchrmesh. I have a Z-T5 that was a little noisy with the regualr ATF, going to the Synchromesh made the
tranny shift a little bit smoother and made it less noisy, the stuff is expensive, but even a Dodge Viper calls for GM Synchrmesh
tranny fluid.
