Default help on my setup

well here it goes, i currently have a 347 stroker, internally balanced, topped off with a set of afr 185, compression is at 10.8. afr pushrods, lifters and hi rev springs, gt-40 stage 3 ported lower with, holcomb racing civil war aluminum upper. 75mm throttlebody, 80mm mass air, 30 lb injectors, msd 6al, msd coil, msd distributor, msd timing controller, trmemec tko2 trans, pro 5.0 shifter, aluminum driveshaft, 4;10, auburn pro posi, 31 spline axles, 1 3/4 long tubes , spintech mufflers with dumps, car is stripped down to 2900lbs with driver, i need help choosing a cam for this setup, im looking to get max performance in the 3000-and up range. are anderson hi-rev cams good

Youve got a killer set up there For the cash you have in that motor , you should deffinitely look into a custom cam . Alot of guys on here like ed curtis from flow tech induction . His cams run $ 325 and are custom ground to your set up . I think thats your best bet .

I've got a custom cam in my 331 that I'm extremely happy with.

It was spec'd by Buddy Rawls. He has a very good rep and is easy to work with. A little cheaper than Ed Curtis, but just as good IMHO.

As stated above, with the investment you have, a custom cam is the way to go.
