Question fiberglass hatch,can you use lift supports?

or do you have to use a prop rod?guys with fiberglass hatches,please show pics of how yours is held up(as long as its not a stick lol)i am about to purchase one,but want to make shure it will function and look good on a streetcar.

I would think you could use lifts . Either get the lx lifts or use some slighly worn out gt ones . It should work . Or maybe just one good gt one

If im not mistaken the gas charged shocks for the hatch have the same part number no matter if they are GT or LX. you should call the manufacturer and find out if the hatch is reinforced to support those type of shocks. Personally i think your wasting your money on a fiberglass hatch. Thats about 50-60 lbs your removing from the rear axles. just my 2 cents, good luck
