i am confused about the whole header thing, i hear long tubes are good then someone told me shorties are also really good, i am using a set of mac equal lenght stubbies right now and i like them but for my new engine i need bigger primaries. there are basically two questions i nee help on. would the big tube shorties work or would 1 3/4 primaries on long tubes be better. which set is better

What mods do you have?
1 5/8s will be ok for most naturally aspirated 5.0s, longtubes will give the most HP. Shorties will be the hardest to install and most will burn your plug wires.

For strokers or when using forced induction you might consider 1 3/4 primaries. But will make you loose HP on mild 5.0s.
