Well, got the book so many people have been talking about around Fords EEC tuning stuff.
My veredict: SUCKS !!
Here's a book written by one of the guys behind DiabloSport Chips, has a brief intro praising the guys behind the "invention" of the Diablo chip and then goes into some light tech about the workings of the Ford EEC.
It also briefly explains the relationship of the EEC with some of the several sensors.
The author tells you a bit about the different types of EECs and goes into some more detail with ODBII stuff. Then he briefly and without much detail explains how to tune a 4.6 Automatic, Vortech powered Mustang GT. Gives a light explanation of Fuel ratios, timing advance, but barely much else.
More into the book, theres some more OBDII stuff, like which codes are to be found when theres a problem.
Theres also a Drag racing section, where some driver i wont name explains what he does on the track..this was probably the best part of the book but almost completely unrelated to the subject since his 1,000 hp Mustang don't even uses a Diablo chip or EEC for that matter.
I think it is fair to say that this book will look nice on anyones shelf, the cover is nice but the "guts" are not there.
It is like some stranger showing you his family album, you couldnt care less.
The book totally lacks TUNING information, but it has some COOKING receips at the last chapter. This is the TRUE VALUE of the book, it will probably end up in the kitchen and not on your Ford perfromance bookshelf.
