Default Mustang Headrests, these gotta go!

Does anyone have a clue where i can get replacement headrests for an 02 stang, i have seen other mustang verts go buy with a headrest that tilts forward so you can actually rest you head on it without looking at the clouds! I WANT THEM!!!

The term headrest is actually a misnomer. The reason manufacturers were mandated to put them on in the first place is to reduce the possibility of getting whiplash when involved in a rear end collision. A lot of the newer vehicles, to include the Mustang, will have a forward leaning "headrest" that you can rest your head on.

the headrests you are looking for come on the Mach 1 and the Cobras. The Machs have to have the IUP option and it includes the foward adjustable headrest which I have in my car. they are very comfortable and usefull. I do not beleive the option was available for the GT's. Even with the premium package.

I Bought 88 gt headrests off ebay for $5.00, there at the shop right now getting recovered in leather to match my seats. I popped them on before taking them in and they looked great, kinda like the new Mach1.
The 87 to 89 GTs used them as well as some 87 & 88 Cougers, they rotate forward. They're simple to change, just remove old ones and these slide right in. I will gets some pics when I get them back
