Talking How strong is the 351 block?!?!?!
From what i have heard over the years the the 5.0 block with girdle and such is good for somewhere around 500 HP SAFELY, im sure there are story with more, but as a rule of thumb i guess. How much HP is the 351 block with a girdle good for SAFELY!?!?! 800HP!?!?!?

A friend of mine in Nashville TN has a 351 stroked to a 408, with a 28lb turbo on it. It puts out 800+ hp and 950+torque.

prolly good up to 800 hp if the bottom end is balanced.
