Performance Friction Carbon Metallics.

Awesome performance! Be carefu if you use full service car washes, your brakes will be almost worthless for the first 1 or 2 short stops.

Cheap does not equal cheap in performance.

I usually buy a carbon/metallic from Autozone for my cars with factory brakes.

Totally agree... That's exactly what I was gonna say but you beat me to it.

Have you guys heard anything about "Hawk" brake pads? I had some people asking about em the other other day, I'm curious.

There's 2 types of Performance Friction carbon metallic pads: Street, and Z-Rated. Depending on your driving habits, you may be better off with the street version, because the Z-Rateds are useless until you get some heat into them.

Use them on everything I own. No need for racecar brake pads on a street car, even if you think you have a racecar, use street pads on the street.

I used to have Hawk HPS pads on my Auto-x Neon. Great pads, little to no fade. Worked well at low and high temps. My only complaint was the ammount of brake dust generated, but otherwise great pads. The other pads I highly recommend are EBC green pads.
