Hello Moose,

I've experimented with a few exhaust systems so far so I'll let you know what I've tried and how they sound.
First set up: off road H pipe (not mandrel bent) w/ 40 series Flowmaster two chamber, turn downs, sounded pretty good, but not mean enough or loud enough.

Second set up: same H pipe as above w/ Dynomax Race Magnum Pro Bullets, 2.5 inch in, 2.5 inch out turn downs, sounded really nice and mean, especially at idle and in drive thrus. Sounded pretty tough and loud while driving hard too, much better than the first set up, but I still wanted something meaner and louder

Current set up: same H pipe as above w/ Flowmaster one chamber turn downs; sounds ok, but I was hoping a lot louder and meaner. The second set up was actually louder and meaner, however, I'm about to get a Bassani X pipe and bigger flow tubes to the mufflers, with 3 inch turn down tips, so I'm hoping these additions will really sound loud and mean. I'll keep you posted.

I say go with a premade cat-back, they are all about the same. some sound better than others. Right now I have the american thunder catback, headman headers, walker h-pipe, flow 40's 2 chamber with turn downs. The car sounds great to me, nice deep rumble at idle then it really barks when you get on it. A little drone on the highway but the cd player takes care of that.
