Default Dust & Etc. Behind Inside Dash

My girlfriend just bought a 2001 Ford Mustang. We just noticed today the there is some kind of ashes (probably from a cigarette) or dust behind the dashboard of the car.

To be a little more exact, there is debri in between the Speedometer cluster and the clear plastic that shields the outside from the cluster, etc.

How would I go about accessing this area to remove this debri?? Is there an easy way to website that I can go to to find out how.

Thanks alot for any help.

the light knob is held on with a clip it comes off real easy. the shroud just pull right out after you get the two bolts off.

so,the exterior shroud (i think you refered to it as a bra) comes with after you remove 2 bolts?

Also, can the clip for the lights be removed by hand and how. The reason i am asking is becuase i am not around the car right now, it will be here in about 30 mins and wanted to be prepared.

A guesstimate, how long should it take??
