I thought about buy those tires but opted for the Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-03's (so far these are the best tires I ever had on the Mustang). As with any summer rated tire, do not expect to go anywhere with them if there is snow on the street. (yeah I know it is spring already). It is best to have another set of wheels with snows mounted on them for winter driving. At temperatures below 40F the summer rubber hardens up and loss of traction is unavoidable. As for the snows, they get too gummy when temperatures rise above 40F which will result in loss of tread. I also like the tread on the g-force T/A KDW-2 but they are not yet available in my tire size (BBS wheels). In either case, I usually don't spend time burnning off the rubber in one spot unless I am riding the drift (usually occurs under hard acceleration when making a turn more fun with the traction control turned off). The good thing about having grippy summer tires is the lack of oversteer (or is that understeer?) the mustang will go where the front tires are pointing which was an issue with the stock rubber (BFG comp T/A's)

Summer wheels BBS rk plasma 18x10R (275/35/18) 18x9.5F (245/40/18)
Bridgestone potenza pole position s-03
Winter wheels (stock) with Dunlop SP winter SPort M2 (245/45/r17)

He's asking about the KDWS, which is an all-season tire rated for mud and snow.

Roush vehicles come standard with those. I think they are a great. A few months after I bought my car, I had a mustang parade and could not get to spin after a few seconds. They spin, melt and stick like glue.
Great tire!
