I dont know of anyplace that is a step by step guide to doing it yourself but. If you have never seen anyone doing this i wouldnt try it one your own. How much have you done with a car before?

im 48 and when I was in high school I had a 69 and 70 boss 302 and at that age I went through a clutch about every 3 or 4 months.and on the 70 I put 12 1/2 trw with a 558n lift cam and lots of other things.in 79 I got my 1st look at a 69 boss 429 that was the 1st time that I had ever saw one and it took every cent and a loan to get it.I have had a body shop and have owned 28 mustangs and I think that I worked on all of them.I have the trannie out of my 94 cobra witch I have a 342 that d&d built for me and Im getting a kenny bell for it. the reverse gear tooth is chipped out,but im not working on it but, im trying to put clutchs in the 8.8 so I can find my way around it a little bit so any help would be great...thanks...slickmustang
