Default temp gauge

i have got an 89 mustang with a 2.3 and a 5 speed, i just bought this car a week ago and the temp gauge has not worked since i got the car, it does not over heat or anything and it runs good. i replaced the temp sensor for the gauge, but the gauge still does not work. so i was wondering if you are able to replace just the temp gauge, or if that is replaced with the cluster, or do you guys think that it could be something else, wiring? any help would be greatly appreciated

Justin

if your gong to repalce it you should buy an aftermarket gauge so at least you know how hot your car is and its alot more acurate.
