I switched to 24lb injectors and entered the injector slopes and my idle is really crappy. When my car is hot and I turn it off, it tends to stall when restarting(takes a while to crank up). On cold starts, in the morning, it cranks right up,hesitates(idle drops), then idles good. I'll put it in first to take off, and it seems to buck and want to die. After the initial buck, it runs fine. I have a 94 gt convertible with all the mods except the heads(full exhaust, all the intake stuff, msd stuff,155lph,regulator and guage,pulleys....). Any help would be appreciated.
The EEC controls the size of the injectors and the meter, plus anything you can think of !!!
The EEC is basically a bunch of tables and scales you can TWEAK depending on your parts or ENGINE.
The hardware is basically the same for most Ford cars, what changes the most is the programming.
I could install a 351 and tell the EEC i now have a 351, or install longtubes and tell the EEC to use a larger pulse delay value so the O2 sensors act right, or install heads cam and intake and tell the EEC my Volumetric efficiency has increased, etc.
It is completely programable with the EECtuner and most chips.

If not, what brand, size and MAF calibration you got?
One more thing:
MIN_TIP_IN_SPARK 0 # Minimum actual spark during tip-in (Deg BTDC)
Change to
MIN_TIP_IN_SPARK 21 # Minimum actual spark during tip-in (Deg BTDC)
In case of tip-in your spark will go to ZERO advance
Well bud, heres my advice, install the STOCK MAF electronics in the PROM housing, then you need to change the MAF TRANSFER TABLE to reflect only and increase in flow but STOCK voltage.
Heres what you do:
MAF_FUNCTION # Mass Air Transfer Function
( 15.9998, 835.509 ) ( 4.76807, 835.509 ) ( 4.44312, 695.465 )
The first value in EACH PAIR is voltage: leave it alone
The second value in each pair is flow.
Get the STOCK table values.
Then multiply the SECOND value (FLOW) in each pair by 1.15
This is an "aproximate" approach, it wont be 100% correct but close.
Let me get back to you later for a correct MAF table.
Your best bet is to use the calibration sheet that came with your Pro-M to generate a new transfer function and enter that function. IMO, you should keep your Pro-M electronics in place.
I was having problems getting this approach to work with my X3Z (93 Cobra) EEC. I just recently switched to an A9L, entered the transfer function for my Pro-M (cal'd for 30s and an X3Z) and changed my injector slopes to 36 (low) and 30 (high). Wow, what a difference!
I'm amazed at how much better it idles and runs at part throttle now, even with my fairly large cam (235/237, .567/.574).
