So it would cause idle problems and stalling. If it didn't open what would the computer do. I have a problem at idle. It will lop like a cam and somwtimes it will not start, it will start but will stall imediatly. When driving the idle air by-pass valve open and you can hear a wistle. The car will start to hesitate then buck violently. Now at the present time it will not go. The car starts but once you try to give it throttle to take off it just stalls. It will free rev alittle but will not how the proper rpm. I can race it to 4k but it will go from 3,500k to 4k to 4,300k and then when you let off for it to idle it just stalls. I will not get me to work so now I'm screwed. I just spent 120 dollar at NAPA for a new MAP sensor and the electical connection that goes on the back of the EGR needless to say the $120 didn't do anything and electrical part are none returnable.
