First Car Decision Time I'm gonna be buying my first car soon and I've really narrowed it down to two cars. A fox body Mustang or a 3rd gen Camaro.
I would get a 302 Mustang or a 350 Camaro.
I think the Camaros look better.
Which car performs better stock? What is the future outlook like regarding aftermarket support?
Also, which is better for the money? I wanna stay around 2 grand or less.

Stock, the Camaro will beat a Mustang.
The 350 Engine is great, but the quality of the Camaro sucks. They rattle like crazy. The design in my opinion is out of date.
The Mustang has the largest aftermarket support, easy to upgrade and cheap. Heads and intake will take you to Camaro territory.
And no car looks like a Mustang
And you entered the question in the wrong site

with 2 grand you can blow away a stok camaro like its sitting. you can get gears, heads, intake, and a few more. gt40p would be the heads you would be buying but i have seen an article were they put AFR 165 heads on a stock 302 and made a little over 400 hp.

Anyone else?
Also what do you think the lowest price I could get either of the cars?

I don't think you'll find a Camaro that can beat a Fox Mustang for 2 grand. These will be high mileage cars and a 5.0 will go 200 - 250k miles if maintained properly.
