Okay folks. I figured this would be here elsewhere, but no search revealed it. I'm figuring search function doesn't work so well...

Anyways, I have a 95GT with AODE.
I have owned for 3 months.
I'm looking to do a tranny fluid change and have no idea when (OR IF) this was done last.

Questions:

1. Do you recommend just changing the pan oil? Or get a complete flush? Why?
2. What about specialty fluids that make for quicker/sharper shifts? Do these generate more or less wear on the enging? Why?

Replace all the fuild, pan and converter. Its only a few more bucks, the tranny will work cooler. Why mix good oil with dirty oil? makes no sense, the old fluid degrades with use and gets dirty.
Use Motorcraft Dexron III ATF, new gasket and filter.

No need to use additives of any kind, the tranny was built to use Dexron III ATF.
