Default powder coating

I have a 66' coupe that is in the procress of restoring. My 289 engine has an an aluminum intake that has been powder coated. The finish on the intake does not look all that good with a freshly painted motor. Does anyone know of a way to remove the coating? I have already tried to blast it with 3 different grades of sand and also glass beads. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
