Rattle in the dash

Default Rattle in the dash
I have a '00 V6 vert and there is this rattle behind the dash that is driving me crazy. It happens all the time, except when the dealer's body shop guy drives it. It seems to be coming from right behind the upper air vents right in the center of the dash. It sounds like some hyperactive kid is popping a Snapple cap in there.

Does anyone know what might cause this and if I can fix it without messing something else up in the process?
