Its the 2000 Cobra R Hood.

All the 2000 cobra R’s I have seen have this super dome hood. The super dome hood is smooth and the hood in the picture looks like it has vents in it?

There is one on ebay for $350 if your interested. It also has functional vents for heat extraction as does the original hood. Just go to Ebay motors/parts-car & truck and type in mustang hoods.Cervinis auto designs and Mrbodykit.com have them too. Want that hood too thats why I know where to look

Why? Don’t you like the hood it came with it?
I think the hood looks kool. But…
The scoop is fake, makes a very annoying whistling sound on the freeway, and collects water in carwash that get blown up on the hood when you drive off so it leave lots a nice dirty spots when it dries. : )
If it did something or was easily converted to do something then I would like it.

I started looking for a new hood about a month after I bought it (13 Mar 2004 ). I like the Steeda Q400 hood but the vents are fake too. I like the Cobra R hood too and the vents actually work so I will be getting one in the next few months.
