Try this. Let your car sit out in the sun all day with the top up. Near the end of the afternoon, have someone help you with the top. If your top goes up and down, then there is nothing wrong with the motor and pumps. You and a friend should try to get the top up by having one of you activate to top switch while the other tries to latch the top. If you get the top latched, for the next week or so, let the car sit in the sun all day with the top up. It just may be that your top needs to stretch and mold back into place. If that doesn't work, take the car to a convertible top shop, not the dealer.
