Default Brake pad relpacement...HELP

I've got a 99 mustang V-6 with 4 wheel disc...

Every car I ever owned I just take the old pads pads off and use a "C" clamp to compress the brake piston and then install new pads. These sucker will not budge. I never usually even bleed the brakes, just C-clamp it and it works just fine. The mustang brakes won't even budge when i try bleed and use the c-clamp. Please help, what am i doing wrong or missing??? The emergency release is off, and I've got the old shoes out, I just cannot compress the cylinder?????

You didn't mention WHICH end of the car you're talking about but I'll assume you're doing the rears, because the front's will compress with a clamp.

The rears are threaded, so a special tool is required to turn the pistons back in. That tool can be purchased at any auto store.

And shoes are for drum brakes. Pads are for disc brakes.
