Default off-the wall wheel question

I seem to recall seeing wheels somewhere (one of those tv jerk-off over stuff you cant afford car shows I think) that had no inner rim. It was a metal hoop with rubber on it, no spokes, no 'center'. It may have been on a motorcycle... Anyone have any clue what those were or maybe have a link? Its been driving me nuts for a while, can't remember what they were called or where I saw them, if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it!

I watched television program about that bike. It uses a helicopter bearing assembly.
