I have a 1992 4 cycl, fan will not go on,but will go on when air is on.This tells me that it is not fan motor,but could be ccrm.the fan will not go on at all and gage goes all the way up.So I wanted to replace it, but can not or do not know where it is or what it looks like.Also is it normial for the temp gage on these cars to read atlowest position when driving.

maybe the previous owner took out the thermostat and thats why it reads low . I also think there is a separate relay for when the a/c is on . I would check out the thermostat and if thats not it then check out / replace the fan switch that sees the tempurature .
