Question Replace Rag Joint

1989 MUSTANG - 2.3L - AT/AC - I need to replace the Rag Joint Coupling on the lower steering shaft. I have located a "HELP" P/N 31002 coupling at Autozone. Has anyone used this part on a Mustang? The package states that it fits Ford and GM. I have not been able to find any technical information on replacing it. Has anyone replaced the coupling? What is involved? THANKS!

Thanks for the reply. I was concerned about what I would have to do to pull the lower steering column. Was able to pull it without dropping the steering gear. Drilled out the rivets. Job complete.
