Default Home made SUPERCHARGER!

Hi im new to the fourms and i own a 90's LX mustang and i was out driving my car and saw a nice stang out he was parked at MC donalds i asked him wut he had and stuff he pointed out he had a super charger in his 94 stang.... he began to tell me i can make my own SUPERCHARGER with a LEAF BLOWER i was stunned b/c i dont know a lot about engines.. is this TRUE?? if so how would i go about making 1




HELP ME OUT !!!!

NO! Don't even think about it, there is so much that goes into a supercharger that there is no way it come even close to a leaf blower. it is just like those electric supercharger (there are other forums on this so do not get into it, PLEASE!!) there is no way you can make one out of a leaf blower, and please do not try it. at least not on your car...

a leaf blower cant produce the type of boost a car would need. its alot more technical than just slapping on a fan to the intake. lol

Leafblowers have no provisions for any kind of boost reference for the
purposes of fuel management.

Super/turbochargers make power by compressing air, not by just moving air. Leaf blowers, electric fans, etc. do NOT compress air. They move air.

To make your own supercharger just get 4-5 tornados and some flex tubing.
