i have a 95 mustang gt sometimes it will stick ins econd gear with clutch depressed it if i wait a few seconds and try again ittl usuly fall out of gear with clutch depressed but its really bugging me is it maybe the i cant see it being the clutch cable seing as its only second gear and dont always happen any tips ideas anything for me to check would be helpfull this thanx )

p.s no i dont speed shift or jam it into gear but the previous owner might have

It sounds as if the clutch is not fully disengaging. I had this problem on an '87, and it eventually burned up the blocker rings in the transmission.

If so, it could be cable stretch, a galled input shaft on the trans, or possibly a bad throwout bearing.
