Default This is bad tech but...

I know I told the forum I have an '86 Mustang Lx but....

Well it looks like I might not be actually driving it only because me and my dad arent sure its worth getting it fixed up, what with the repairing cost and taxes (lean taxes and registering taxes).

But the good thing is my brothers girlfriend has a friend selling her 1989 nissan sentra for 100 dollars and all it needs is a timing belt or timing chain...I really dont know with nissan's.

But would any one know how much a timing belt or chain would go for, for one of those?

A timing belt is like 20 or 30 bucks... You just may need to change a tensioner while you're in there. Maybe even the water pump if the timing belt runs the water pump. Easy fixes

Well I am still going to keep it, we are just kinda putting it off for a bit till we actually get the papers on the car from the previous owner.

Hehe don't worry I have plans for that '86
