240 city or highway?
you could probably need a tune up if its not getting the performance and gas mileage that it used to. You could also try a fuel injector cleaner as that can also cause it.

fuel problem Well it's both city and highway.....I don't think I need a tune because
my car is just new. I got it last year.

the age isnt all you look at for a tune-up, you also look at mileage.
you could try some performance parts that increase MPG, exhaust, cold air, gears (sometimes), electronic ignition boxes. etc.

Well thanks I'll go ahead and try to do that. Well I just put something
in my gas tank and hopefully that will help.

Well a V-8 isn't know for gas milage. I do much better on highway than in city, but then again I didn't get the car for gas milage.

well performance and mpg decreases can be have been linked to emissions devices before... you may have a clogged cat, bad egr valve, or possibly like mentioned earlier.. something that needs to be cleaned that causes rich mixture.
