I am forced to swap my engine. Unfortunately, it came at a bad time, and the only motor I can get my hands on is 2 years newer than mine.

I have a 95 Stang 3.8. (I know it's small, but it get's me around without gouging my insurance)

I am trying to see if I can fit a 97 3.8 in the car...?

Those model years use the same Kmember so I don't see why their would be to many differences in just dropping it in.
As far as insurance goes you could always dump in the v8 now. Not like you have to tell your insurance agent you dumped in the v8, teh vin still shows a V8.
