Default New to the EEC Tuner need some help & info

I have a 1990 GT that has had a LOAD of work done to the engine.
It started out as a twin turbo project that seem to be running lean
and detonated my pistons pretty damn good.
I had a problem with bucking and sugring like crazy.

At that time I had 38lb lucas injectors with a Pro-m MAF and a 255lph
pump..

I now have much more items during my rebuilding stage.

I have trickflow
track heat heads
F303 cam
scorpian 1.6 rr's
trickflow street heat manifold
42lb Lucas injectors
I have a Vortech T-rex fuel pump but not installed yet
I also have 8.7 compression pistons and eagle forged rods

I have a stock A9L computer that came with my california 90 GT

My question is to all of you eec tuner experts is what should I start
with when i finally get this car up and runing again? What area
should I start in with tuning and such?

I have the latest software for the eec tuner, I also have the GUI EEC
tuner software download(freeware version)

Thanks a lot!
if you need more info to help me out, I'm always on yahoo and on aim
(sekzy siv) thanks guys!

I also have been seeing some problems lately with the tuner, it has been giving me some download verificatiosn errors and my fuel pump is ALWAYS on with the key ignition to ON position.. what could this be also?

Thanks a lot!

You have to start by tunning the MAF and injector combo.

Set base timing at the distributor to 8° to start.

Reduce timing advance 1° per 1 psi of boost. This is the tricky part, you will need help, get someone that can help you keep track of boost and rpms while driving.
Be very conservative on the timing at first.

The Cam could give you idle trouble, raise IDLE rpms if needed.

An adj. fuel pressure regulator will help with the tunning.

Inspect your plugs often, check for lean conditions.

You want it to run a bit rich at first, then play with the regulator to reduce fuel.

Also, remove the Tuner board and clean the contacts.

Ah...one more, reduce plug gap ! and get 1 step colder plugs.
Start with .040
