I use the Ford Racing 9mm wires.. they give me the spark i need and cost half as much as the MSD 8.5's...
you wont notice a huge HP gain with spark on a stock engine... if its stock just stick with autolites (or autolite platinum) and motorcraft.. they are original equipment.. just pull em out and clean em with a wire brush at half life and you should have a strong plug the whole time.
this isnt nessecarily for you... but anyone with an oil leak where the plugs are oily... if you dont have the time or money to replace them there is a plug called A.L. Doerings or ALDORS that supposedly run completley submerged in oil.. I used em in my jeep untill i could replace the valve seals and they worked great.

DEFINATELY Autolites!!!! I hate Autolite Double platinums and they are the BEST plugs i have ever had. Runs so incredibly smooth. I had Bosch and let me tell you, they are just a gimic. DO NOT buy them.

I personally say autolites.
