So I hit a brick in the road... (plus a question) Not just any brick, but a decorative garden brick that fell out of a truck as it hit a pothole. It bent the crap out of my rim and my tire exploded.
I made the mistake of ordering a 17x9 wheel to replace a 17x8 wheel. Will it be safe forthe short term to use the 17x9 with my other17x8 wheels? I figure I'll slap it in the back and it won't matter for now.
Now I have two choices and I want your guys' opinion...
I can send the 17x9 back and buy a 17x8 wheel but it will cost me extra shipping and all that crap, or I can keep the 17x9 and buy another 17x9 for the rear. Do you like tihs idea or would it be so unnoticable that it's not woth the extra 150 bucks.
Also I ordered a 245/45/17 tire to go with the 9 inch, this should be fine right?
