Yes, I've had some experience with all season Goodyears. They pretty much suck all around, poor wet traction, poor snow traction, poor turn in, and poor dry traction. Only thing good about them is that they wear out quickly, so you can move on to different brand soon.
I've used primarily Michilen Pilots since, a very fine all around tire, but kind of pricey. I just bought a set of Pirelli PZero Nero M/S. Have not had enough time to truly evaluate these yet, but very impressed so far. Very close to the Pilots preformance level, only about $200 a set cheaper. Wet traction is amazing, dry traction is very good for an all season tire. I have not tried them in the snow, so can't comment on that. |
