I answered my own question Redhot. To pull the power steering pully I needed to borrow a "power steering pully puller" from Auto Zone ($40.00 + tax refundable upon return of puller). There is what appears to be a hex bolt in the center of the pully shaft ... now to the novice mechanic, like myself, it would seem that inserting the proper sized hex key, securing the pully with a hefty screw driver or wrench, and turning the bolt counter-clockwise should do the trick. NOT SO!! That "hex bolt" ain't no bolt at all! You can wrench on that sucker "till your arm drops off and it will never move. The pully is
hydraulically pressed onto the shaft. WARNING: do NOT use the wrong type pully puller... as it will only bend your PS pully into a non-reusable piece of bent up crap! Once you have the right tool, it's a breeze to get the pully of. If you choose to purchase one, Auto Zone has 'em on the shelf. I hope this advise will save someone else the aggravation that I went through.
