Default Is there a difference between the 1995 and 1996 dash??

I want to know if there is a difference between the 1995 and 1996-up dash. I have a 1995 gt and was wanting to replace the dash. I have went to the local ford dealership and they said that the 94-95 was different than the 96-up. I was wondering if anybody knew if there really was a difference. Any help would be great!!!

I want to know if I can just use the original wiring from my car, and just switch out the dash.

Are you talking about the dash instrument cluster or the black plastic dashboard ???

- The instrument cluster is different for 96 onwards.
- The plastic black dashboard is the same from 94 to 04. (Some minor diff'ss where the stero is held, ac vents slightly diff etc). I have a 2002 in my 1995 Mustang. Some slight mods, like a hold for the clock, but it fits and looks great.

They are the same basic shape from 94 to 04. Like I said, I have an 02 in my 95. Minor changes to the dash occured, like the clock and ac vent mounts but the size and shape is the same.

Default 2000 to 1995 gauge swap

I have a 2000 V6 car and wish to change to some different gauges that allow me to wire them in without interacting with the factory computer....I am doing away with the factory ECU and using a FAST system, so I need manual guages, not computerized guages....Anyone got any ideas?
