i have an 88 mustang conv. w/ a 2.3 . it leaks water from inside the
bellhousing. do the 2.3 engines have freeze plus back there ? or do they commonly crack there? i know the leak isn't from the back freeze plug in the head.

Could be water getting into the OIL and then leaking through the rear main seal.

As far as i know there are no freeze plugs in there.

Have you checked the oil?

check your heater hoses near the firewall........you may need to tighten a couple clamps there..........hotwheels of turborides
