Anyone Familiar With Superchips?

I just purchased a Superchips programmer for my 2000 auto Mustang Gt and I wasn't sure what does "set shift points" actually do? It says you can set 1-2, 2-3,3-4. Can anyone explain exactly what does it actually do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it set's your tranny's shift points so that the computer and engine work better together as you are flooring your car in a race...........it should also help them work together in order to get some better fuel economy..........superchips is an awesome set up

Thanks, but I'm still somewhat confused as to the difference between shift points and tranny pressure. I'm trying to get my car to shift very aggressivly. Which part of the superchips program would do that? Thanks!

5800 for 1-2 and 5700 for 2-3 and 3-4 5700
