Question Converting to 3.73's

To convert to a 3.73 gear ratio, are the ring and pinion the only things I have to change, or do I have to do more. On GEF Racing, the only thing I saw was the ring and pinion set. Thanks for all these answers, I really appreciate it.

Thanks!!!!

you will need a new crush sleave at the minimum, and you might need allot more, but without opening the rear end up, and be sure to get a bottle of Ford's friction modifier, and put the whole bottle in, if it was me, I would gladly pay someone else to do it

Usually with the ring and pinion set, it comes with everything required, new pinion nut, ring gear, etc etc.
do you have an 01 like your name suggests? if so you should be fine on a rebuild kit, unless you got the one-wheel wonder happening.

I have a '99 V6, and I'm definitely getting somone else to do it. I don't want to risk screwing something up, and it shouldn't be too expensive.

Thanks for the responses!
