Question Front end makes loud squeaky noise, HELP!

Ok, I don't know what is wrong with my 98' V6, but the front end makes a loud squeaky noise when I turn my wheels. Does anyone know what is wrong with it and how much it will be to fix it? Can I WD40 something??? I am a single chick now with no man around at this point to help me figure this out! I don't want to get screwed over when I take it in to get fixed! PLEASE HELP!

Sorry clicked too soon -- you need a relationship with a good mechanic -- ask around in your area or look here for recommendations. It is a terrible idea not to have one, and ask online, because something unsafe or expensive could break and you would not know
-- meanwhile, any car needs attention, and having a reliable service place is a money saver.

The same thing happened to my 94 Cobra. It turned out to be the lower ball joints.
