Whats a "level 10" torque converter? What does that mean towards stall speeds? 1500rpm? 2000rpm?
A torque converter should be matched to the rpm of the cam/engine to be used.
Basically a stall torque converter will move the rpm where the engine will start to make the car move. With a 1500 stall, the car will start to move when the engine reachs 1500rpm. 2000 stall, 2000rpm. Can you see why it matters where the engine creates power when selecting a converter. If you use a 2500 stall on an engine that starts producing power at 1500rpm, than you are in the wrong rpm range for the engine. For a stock engine I would not go more than a 1500 stall converter
